Simone is a businesswoman and has been working in the consulting business for Brazilians since 2000. Graduated in Business Administration, Simone is fluent in English and Spanish. Her vision for exploring new businesses and having, in an innate way, the talent of entrepreneurship, came at a very young age, occupying management positions in multinationals such as IBM, Souza Cruz, British Petrolium and, finally, Sony Music, when she left a name and stable career to go after a dream. On a tour trip with the band Cidade Negra, assisted by Simone, he stayed in Miami for a while – fulminant passion!
He called his mother in Brazil and said “mother, I'm staying”. On this day, the carioca began to “make America”. With a resume under her arms and a lot of determination, she got two job offers in just one month.
“With the salary I earned, I couldn't cover all my expenses” – explains Simone, who even had to pay the expenses of her work visa. “Therefore, to increase my income, I had numerous jobs. Leave the main job at five in the afternoon and go straight to one of the temp jobs. I've been a waitress, caretaker, receptionist, driver, and I did translation. Everything that appeared I took, as long as it was a decent job”.
The first four years in the United States were very difficult for Simone, missing her home, her friends, taking jobs to supplement her income, and on top of that, without a car. “A real nightmare. That's when for the first time I thought about giving up everything, coming home and admitting defeat.
However, that day I get a phone call that would change my whole life – finally a job offer that would allow me to do what I loved most and receive a salary that would provide me with a better lifestyle”, explains Simone. This phone call made Simone, who was less than 2 years old, triple the client base of the company she worked for, being invited to become a partner and occupy the position of Vice-President.
“From the first job in Miami to the emergence of America Expert, it was a leap.” When it comes to innovation, Simone has always been a natural leader.. When he had the idea of founding America Expert, he sought to specialization with educational equivalence under US law. He created numerous services to help his compatriots in Uncle Sam's land, such as opening a company, protecting assets, physical and virtual addresses, accounting and tax advice, immigration processes, research and market surveys, among others.
Being not only a pioneer in what she does, but because she is a woman, having to deal with the family structure, prejudices and other challenges that the corporate market imposes on women.
